RareKind and Cutty Sark

We are in the final stages of completing a massive project collaboration with Cutty Sark Whisky.
They asked four of the RareKind Artists (Jimi Crayon, Alfa, Celine Choo and Garry Milne) to create a mural depicting the brand's London to Shanghai connections and the brand's young, fresh new look. We carried out the live work a few days ago on the roof top at Cordy House, East London. Here are some of the work in progress images.
Final images and film to follow.

Cutty Sark also kindly provided us with whisky, ginger ale, limes and green tea to celebrate at the end of the two day shoot. Delicious!

RareKind at Goodwood 2010

3 artists from the RareKind team have been invited back to Goodwood Festival of Speed this July, for the 5th year running. The RareKind stand at the festival is always hugely popular and we are pleased to be a regular feature!

Alfa Canvas

A very lovely couple asked us to create them a family crest canvas to celebrate their wedding. The idea behind the canvas being that it represented all the elements of their relationship and what they and their children were into at the time of the wedding.
The infinitely talented Alfa was chosen for the project and the results speak for themselves.
A really lovely project to work on!

They Seek Him Here - Bill London at RareKind

Following the massively successful May 09 launch of the new RareKind Gallery, the UK’s only 100% genuine graffiti art gallery; we are proud to present the first ever solo show by the award winning artist, Bill London.

Arguably one of the UK’s most skilled graffiti artists with a career spanning ten years, Bill London has consistently raised the bar for London Graffiti. His skill, subtlety and innovative subject matter have buyers champing at the bit to get their hands on his illusive canvases.

Influenced by an eclectic mix of architectural line, bold colour, traditional tattoo and oriental art, Bill London applies the cloak and dagger elements of purist graffiti ‘Wild Style’ (camouflaged lettering and words through intricate manipulation) with delicate aesthetic elements and layering to create hypnotic final pieces, which can be appreciated on infinite levels.

Alongside these wild-style canvases, the ‘They Seek Him Here’ show also includes a series of 3 illustrative, concept pieces, exploring themes on Britain’s dark, alluring urban and social landscape; and as part of the exhibition, an entire wall of the 1,000ft gallery has been covered with small canvasses overlaid with a graffiti mural, which will then be divided up as small artworks.

The exhibition runs from Friday 10th July until Friday 31st July 2009.

Alphabet - Ink Fetish

This is Ink Fetish's response to the Aphabet brief set to all RareKind Agency artists.
The brief was simple and straightforward, to interpret an Alphabet in their own unique style.

Alphabet - Amanda Greenidge - Spitting on the Mic

All the RareKind Agency artists have been asked to illustrate an Alphabet, that was as far as the brief went, the artists are totally free to interpret it any way they wish. This is Amanda Greenidge's illustration - Spitting on the Mic.

Beautiful!
